[How To] DIY a Simple Mini Gift Card

[How To] DIY a Simple Mini Gift Card
June 23, 2015 CuteCoco

One of my crafty posts from around two years ago is featured on one of fabulous mom’s sites and it has been giving me pretty good traffic. I am quite convinced that I should do it more often, now that I am on Etsy world too.

I did the mini favor bag and making your own note book, amongst many other. So today, let me show you how to make a simple mini card to put on your gift box or favor bag. It’s easy and fast.

Gift card diy

A piece of lined paper

A piece of gift wrapper or patterned paper

A piece of card stock (I am using a very thick one, because that’s what I have in the house) size 6cm x 8cm

Cute stickers

Double tape (for when needed – but in this DIY it isn’t need)

Paper cutting board

1. Glue the wrapping paper on the card stock. This will function as the background. Cut the excess.

2. Cut the lined paper 1cm shorter on both sides (length and height). Stick the paper on the card stock on top of the wrapping paper. If the lined paper is too sheer, you can double it.

3. Decorate with cute stickers

4. You can place double tape at the back side so it can be pasted on a box or gift bag. You can also slip it in a flower bouquet.

The mini gift card can also function as a quote card. You can write down your favorite quote and place it on your planner or note book.
