Miracle

Miracle

Moodboarding while watching Constantine is certainly not a good activity pairing. But I am Gemini. I work two or more things in one time, regardless those things are totally opposite one another. I shifted my eyes from a ghosty look on screen to a happy-go-lucky yellow and black decorative tones. No worries.

How are you doing on Pinterest? I am doing just fine. When I need to mood-board it is the perfect place to go because Pinterest is a dreamy land where all magic happens.

Talking about magic -and I have to add miracle too, something wonderfully strange happened on Saturday.

At 10 am the kids and I were down at the lobby level to grab some breakfast. J has gone out to get our car cleaned and checked. My mind was not in a happy bubble; mostly because I was thinking of the money some people still owed me. My friend told me to let it go and assured me that somehow God will pay me back in every possible way.

My friend is probably right.

I told myself to let it go. Not in Frozen singing tone..but just to be grateful and zen, knowing that everything is gonna be alright.

And so we had breakfast.

A man who sat next to us, he was wearing gold pretty much all over his body, paid for his coffee. But there was no small change. He looked at our table and told the waiter that he wanted to pay for my bill too. I said “what?!” – obviously not out loud ha ha.

Tried to politely turn down his goodwill but he insisted. He also gave little A a IDR 20.000,- notes before heading out, despite my attempt to refuse politely. I could hear little A’s voice cheerily thanking the man while I was left stunt.

I believe it’s a gift from above. You know. For letting go.

What do you think?

Definitely! That’s really neat, I guess there are still nice people out there. :)

That was a lovely gesture! I always love those unexpected goodies that come our way from time to time.

This wasn’t our first time either. Back in Doha we had a lovely surprise from a total stranger too. A woman went out to a candy store and bought two bags of assorted candies for K and little A out of nowhere. Few night before we had bought two small unbranded perfume only because the man told us he needed the money to pay his rent.
