Wellness Wednesday #14: Drink and Detox with Kangen Water
April 8, 2015 CuteCoco

When you enter the motherhood saga, it gives you no morning perks of snoozing – even only for one time, let alone enjoying delightful breakfast in bed. No. When that alarm’s off, you go chop chop! moving unstoppably fast like a twister.

Ask any mother in the neighborhood. They will give you that approving nod.

Only one thing that can shoot down the twister and make it rest. Sickness. Or sort of. In my case, I was down for the detoxing effect of Kangen water.

My friend, who has been religiously drinking (and probably put all her faith in) Kangen water, told me that my symptoms were showing that the water was working perfectly on my body and that my body has tons of poisons. If one person gets hit by only one thing like nausea or dizziness or diarrhea, I got hit by all of them.

Just one bottle of 2 litters enough to put me in bed the whole day on Sunday, and left me with little nausea on the next two days. I couldn’t stand up without feeling dizzy, I got loose motion three times in a day and my body was just so uncomfortable. Losing appetite was one that lasted. For days I could only eat once a day, and that was only rice and tofu with some spicy sambal.

Weirdly, I haven’t lost weight so far.

Now my appetite is slowly returning. A start was my delicious Indian food explore last week. My portion shrinks though. I cannot eat as much as I used to. I hope this one lasts for good.

For you who are asking what the hell Kangen water is, my answer to you is that it is a very special alkaline water created from a technique that allows it’s ph increases. So instead of having only ph 6 as normal water has, Kangen water has ph 7+, which is very healthy for your body. I think Enagic can provide you with better information on that.

It has been two weeks now since I had my last bottle of Kangen water. The person who sells this in our apartment lobby has shut her outlet. I am left with a phone number for a delivery order. I am going to call tomorrow for another bottle.

  1. Sounds like it is working for you

  2. My uncle advised me to drink this water, which I thought this’s just an ordinary mineral water -__- One thing that made me refused to drink was, the brand name.. Why, why is it using name of KANGEN, that reminded me to the name of notorious group band in Indonesia, wkwkwkwkw ;p…

I don’t know this water, but I believe that some detoxing is needed here and there. Even when we eat our cleanest, our body needs a reset to keep on functioning smoothly. Did you manage to get more of it?

    • Rina 5 years ago

Yes Debbie, the detoxing effect afterwards feels so good. I haven’t managed to get more, it’s a bit hard to find here :(

I finished 3 gallons of kangen water but didn’t have the same reaction as you so maybe something is not right? Not sure. Alkaline water is great but I am a firm believer that the food we eat plays a far more important roles in detoxifying the body, of course the water won’t hurt too 😀 Go you!

Lucky you, maybe it means you body doesn’t store as much poison as mine ha ha…yes I agree, food plays important role too!
