Marching into the last month of the year I am carrying a lot of excitements in my bag. New home, new career, it’s a long-awaited change that finally pull through. Obviously some planning need to be done, goals should be set and at this time of year I am sure everyone is just as obsessed as me to get the resolutions for 2015 lined up. The true question is, do you need a resolution at all?
Every year I write down my resolutions. Every year I fail to tick anything off the list. But I never backed down. Yes I am that stubborn. The stubborness has earned me something; at least 2014 saw I am ticking off 1 resolution.
Let’s discuss and see where I have done wrong.
I did get into the routine back in Medan where I used to jog after dropping K at school. Until I found a lot of excuses to not doing it again. Lack of willingness.
Low carb diet: Fail
This is a yo-yo thing for me. Instead of going strong with the diet I am going strong with ballooning. How frustrating. Again, lack of willingness.
Less coffee: So – So
From almost 5 cups a day, now I have come down to 2 cups. Most days even only 1 cup. Good achievement? Maybe, only thing is sometimes I forgot to stock the coffee. I think that forgetfulness plays important role here.
More structured content: Fail
I am starting all over again. Look forward to more exciting content here for 2015 and the kick off will start as soon as December. I will talk about it more on my other post.
Start up: On Going
Have you visited my CuteCoconut Shop? Turns out, being a one-man ship takes more effort. Hence things got a little bit slow. The stock is being updated but I am still waiting for my samples to get done.
A total blunder I guess.
Finish the new template: Done
No, it’s not my current one. My partner a.k.a web-designer cousin has created 2 versions of template which are now lying in a folder in my laptop “collecting dust”. She was busy lately and I had no idea how to install it. Sigh.
Photoshop: SUPER DUPER DONE
Finally, I can proudly say that I can do Photoshop (and firework). How does that make me feel? AH MA ZING.
My resolutions for 2015 will not be too different. Lose weight, more income, settle down and be happy.
Did you make 2014 resolutions? Have you met all of them? Would you mind sharing with me if you have 2014 resolutions fail… give me comfort here that I am not alone 😀
