5 Awesome Ideas to Celebrate the New Year

5 Awesome Ideas to Celebrate the New Year
December 25, 2013 CuteCoco

I am happy to say that little A has got better now. He was discharged from the hospital yesterday and now we need to make him rest properly so by the time we fly this Saturday he would be 100% fully truly recovered!

Meanwhile it’s another 6 day before the countdown! I decided to go on Pinterest to look for 5 awesome ideas to celebrate the New Year (number two is what we are going to do…we’re not going overseas but definitely a new place).

New Year celebration1

Ow yeaah! I am sure almost everyone is planning to spend the last evening of 2013 on partying all night long. It is a celebration after all right?! But don’t make it too ordinary! Dance the music with your dears and nears on the table. Yes, you read me…ON the table! (Image courtesy: Pinterest)

Go to the other part of the world and be amazed! Not everyone of us gets to experience beautiful sunset like everyday. Not everyone of us gets to see the snow every now and then. Hence, take a chance and fly away. It should be fun to celebrate the new year in a gorgeous new place! (Image courtesy: Pinterest)

New Year celebration3

I think it is so cool to be able to celebrate New Year in two different continents. Take a night flight from US to Asia or the vice versa right on 31st December evening. You’ll probably get to celebrate the new year twice depending your departure point. (Image courtesy: Pinterest)

Zombie movie marathon. Who’s on earth going to celebrate the new year by watching zombie movies? That’s right! You could be the first! (Image courtesy: Pinterest)

New Year celebration

I guess this is the best time to take a good night sleep for one year straight. You go to bed in 2013 and wake up in 2014! (Image courtesy: Pinterest)

Looking back to 2012, I have done similar post about 5 cool ways to celebrate your New Year’s eve. There are two similar things in this current post that were also in that 2012 post. Take a look what are those and mention in comment below. It’s a fun exercise :)

And for you who celebrate the day I wish you a wonderful Christmas!

Glad A is feeling better! We will be staying in with the kids this year playing board games and watching movies. The older I get, the more low key I like to spend New Years :)

Actually, that is one of awesome ideas too… spending time at home with family..I have been doing that for the past three years haha…before I always spent new year’s eve at work X_X

Our ideas: buy a lot of junk food and soft drink, store them in our car and park at car free night area. Don’t know if that will work because it will be the first time. Usually we go to a cafe/hotel party or held a barbecue party at home :))
