Lately I have been behind almost everything. It is quite difficult adjustment for the transition from working at home mom to working at office hours mom. But I am happily working on it and I think I don’t have any reason why I can’t be on top of this.
It has been a rough two weeks adjustment but I am optimistic that next week will be so much better. It is very sad for me not to be able to take part on any blog hop, especially the Wordless Wednesday (again).
When I am on fire like this, when things get a bit tougher some reality shows have been my take for comfort. You may find some a bit lame but it is always refreshing for me because no matter how bad the show is or how tacky it is I always end up with something positive picked up from the show. So today I want to share my most inspiring reality shows, those that lift up my spirit:
1. Giuliana and Bill
Why not? Sometimes it feels like their words are scripted despite their claim that they are not. However the fact that they are so keen and determined to make their relationship works is so inspiring. I am also touched by Giuliana’s struggle over cancer and baby. I am glad that they finally have found the light.
Oww yeah! This one could be the tackiest of all but looking at those fights, boy they are so entertaining! I don’t think I could stand someone like Tracy in my life, I am glad I only get to see this kind of girl on tv. I found so many similarity between me and Olivia. We are both crazy and creative, but I think I am much smarter than anyone of them combined together ha ha.. Seriously sometimes you can just laugh listening to some stupid conversation, in particular between Olivia and Briella. The positive things that I pick up from the show are the way they think of their career very seriously and are willing to do whatever it takes to get them to their life goal (even though sometimes it means more cat fights!).
3. Glam Fairy
This is the spin off from Jerseylicious, and the transformation of Alexa from crazy business-bitch to a much cooler and calmer personality is amazing. I am very curious how she makes her business successful, maybe the style network is one of the booster too but I really love her professionalism and creativity.
4. Pregnant in Heels
Rosie Pope is one living proof that you can make motherhood as a career. Your motherhood experience can eventually earn you some money if you do it right. It is so amusing to watch these future-moms getting helps from Rosie.
5. Flipping Out
My favorite is definitely Zoila, the audacious housekeeper, who seems to not having any respect toward her employer Jeff Lewis. I love this show because of the way Jeff takes control of his flip projects (he buys houses, flip them and re-sold them for profit) and how he, then, starts to focus on his home decorating consulting business.
Just by watching these entertaining shows can boost my mood and a great reminder of what I want to achieve in life. The career as a working mom is certainly not a stopping point. I am going to keep learning, keep improving, keep developing as I am growing new motto: I come to be the best. Ha ha..sounds so over-confident huh? 😛
If you haven’t, would you like to follow me on my Instagram (CuteCoconut) or Facebook Page or Twitter? Because I really love to connect and I am a social media enthusiast (in case you don’t realize yet).
Sooo…is anyone of you a reality show freak like me?? Tell me, which one is your favorite?
