I started this blog couple years ago to channel those ideas from my head, to voice my passion and to find myself while I was drawn loosing my own identity as a working mom. Later in my blog journey I discovered that blogging has so many things to offer and how I was challenged to grab all of them.

Sometimes the temptation of making more money draws me further from my initial intention of writing a blog.

Many of times I am so glad that a post like Theresa did catch hold of me and pulls me back to the ground.

Many of times, many of us are too carried away with the whole blogging things and failed to remember that no matter what we should always blog from the heart.

Because it is the heart that put a soul in a blog. Don’t you think?

Awww, thanks for the mention! I like to see personality in a blog. That’s what gets me coming back for more. You can do reviews all day long or post that pay, but if I don’t feel like I know YOU and can connect with YOU, (not you, Rina, just the blogger lol) then I don’t really know what your about, if we actually like the same things, therefore, your review opinions mean squat to me. I probably won’t be a regular visitor. Blogging from the heart really is the way to go!

lol! Yeap, I also stay away from a blog that write only reviews and opportunities. I will visit but won’t be a regular.

I saw that post and liked it.

Blogging from the heart makes it a lot more fun too. :)

      That is absolutely true!

Absolutely – that is one of the reasons I have not tried to make any money on my blog not entered into giveaways or product reviews.
    Have a great day !

    100% agree, Rina!
I think writing from the heart will keep our blogs and our writing sustainable too. The moment I stop writing about my passions, is the day I close my blog.

When I blog, I do it from the heart. No one wants to read a blog without a bit of soul. Sponsored posts should really only be a small part of your blog but it is necessary if you want to make an income from blogging. Found your blog via #IBOT

  6. I totally believe in blogging from the heart. Sometimes earning some money or getting free stuff can be tempting but I started my blog for me and I have to stay true to myself and to my beliefs. Glad to see that many others feel exactly the same!

Great reminder there. I find that when I blog about the things that matters most is when I am most authentic and real.

Yes exactly, I could never do a sponsored post myself, it’s not where I want my blog to go. It’s all about the recording of family memories for me, with a little other bits thrown in. #teamIBOT

I couldn’t agree more. I think we all reach a phase of being concerned about numbers and stats and stuff, but then one day we realise it’s just about the story.
