When I was sitting in front of TV on Friday night all I wanted was to catch this week’s episode of New Girls 2. I had missed it on Monday so that night was my last chance to catch Jess and her crazy roommates before the scene moved on to the new episode.
The house was quite, everybody had gone to sleep. The boys were already deep in their dream and my husband had just gone into our bedroom. He’s one sleepyhead.
Jess, nick, schmidt and winston would only come by at 23.10. I looked at the clock on our TV decoder it was only 22.55. So I had around 15 minutes spare time. Suddenly I felt bored. I had three ways to get rid of it:
a. Flipping through channels and break the remote control.
b. Taking a quick nap with a great chance I would fall asleep the whole night and miss this week’s episode.
c. Go to the bedroom and have a quickie.
Say what? Oh yes, you bet I chose C!
So I quickly stormed to the bedroom and found my husband was preparing to sleep. I asked whether he would like to do it, he asked “what do you think?” and the rest were history.
15 minutes fast forwarded (you wouldn’t think I would tell you the detail would you???) we rushed to put our clothes back on (hmm are you picturing this scene at the back of your head?!), kissed goodnight and off we went. My husband was back to bed and I was back to my headquarter to say hi to Jess and friends.
Yes situation permits I would say that quickie is a great way to overcome your boredom. And it’s healthy too, don’t you think? Besides which are you who has never done a quickie? especially with a bunch of kids in your plate?
Opting for a quickie is like having a fast food on the drive thru. I mean after days for a good proper dinner at the table, won’t you like to have a fast food once in awhile? Only this fast food is good for your heart and it burns calories
To make it more interesting, after a quickie session I sometimes tell my husband “thanks dear, call me!”.
What do you think about quickie?
