Homemade Srikaya Jam

Homemade Srikaya Jam

You probably are wondering what on earth srikaya is! Trust me I can’t describe it any better but people normally call this as coconut jam. Well with me, let’s just call it a cute coconut jam ๐Ÿ˜›

Srikaya jam is my favorite jam of the whole world. More than chocolate, more than cheese, more than peanut butter! It’s just so yum. When my house assistant told me that she could make it boy I was super excited. Turned out the ingredient is not difficult (please keep in mind that Srikaya jam is not made of Sarikaya fruit).

All you need is a piece of palm sugar (you can use white sugar too and add yelow food coloring to make it colorful) which you melt in 2 cups of water, coconut milk, 2 eggs and flour.

Mix all ingredient together and bring it to boil in low heat.

better served with white bread (srikaya jam sandwich)

Enjoy my very first homemade Srikaya jam/Coconut jam…ssst! Okay I didn’t make it by myself. But I was taking pictures whilst it was being made. That counts doesn’t it?!!

Sarikaya fruit is originally from Indonesia and it’s not very popular I guess ๐Ÿ˜€
