I have learnt that in this life there will always be people who hate what you’re doing (especially if you succeed it) and people who send you tons of courage to get you to your dream. I am surrounded by both world and to be honest I have tried my best to escape the first types.
I wrote this on my facebook page and I want to share it with you here now:
I offered my ebook Mom Think Tank to a friend who has just quitted her job and delivered a baby. She asked me what my book was about. I told her it was about my experience and feelings when I just quitted my job, moved overseas, became a stay at home mom with no helpers in the house. Her response was “how does that matter to me?”
Almost everyone that I showed her response said the same thing “snob”. But then I realized some people might not need our help after all. So why bother?
Sometimes we think we can inspire other people. Just because we work hard toward our dream we thought everybody is doing that too. The truth is not many people has the same gut like us so when they only laugh at your dream, hold your head up high and move on because people like this don’t deserve our energy and time.
Meanwhile, I just found this book that resembles what my dream is all about. And maybe this can connect all of us too, moms in blogosphere:

The guidance for people who are too smart to be just some regular employees.

That’s right. Hold your head up high girl! Tell her not to read it then. Look, we are all at different stages in our lives. You aren’t going to be everyone’s cup of tea, and that’s ok. While you may not be able to offer her any advice, there are plenty of new moms out there who would welcome your insight. Just keep doing what you are doing, and ignore the haters.

Yeap, haters just a waste of time don’t they?
