For Baby Keandra with Love

The city delivered a cloudy and gloomy sky on Saturday morning. I locked myself in the car, cancelled my run as rain started to pour and Rihanna screamed Umbrella by the radio. This was the time when I first learned about baby Keandra. A friend of mine had circulated the news and when I read about it one thing that struck me instantly was “I must help”.

Meet baby Keandra Morris Ksatria Lim who was born on 28th May 2012 with 45 cm tall and 2.85 kg in weight.

Look at his cutie little face! It is so heartbreaking to know that baby Keandra was born with Down Syndrome. Indeed he is special. But the real heartbreaker is that baby Keandra is also diagnosed to have three small holes in his heart which is called AVSD. He needs a corrective heart surgery before end of December 2012.

That kind of surgery doesn’t come in cheap here in Indonesia. His parent are racing with time to get the amount needed to perform the surgery and any help from all of us, even the smallest one, is a blessing for baby Keandra and his family.

Today, Sunday 21st October 2012 they are holding a fund raising event called Garage Sale Save Baby Keandra in Bandung. The location is at Dago’s Car Free Day area. You can donate your stuffs that you won’t need anymore or you can just be there and buy the items being sold.
