Saturday was my second son’s 3rd birthday. We have cancelled our plan to hold a full celebration, ditched the plan to distribute birthday favor bag and opted to do something that would be fun for the birthday boy. So we asked him what he wanted to do, where he wanted to go and what he wanted to eat. The day was all about him. We visited the zoo (it was the worst zoo I have ever seen in my life – although I think I only have seen three to four zoo), played at the mall’s kids ground and ate fried chicken. He was so happy blowing the candle, opening his gifts and he sang Happy Birthday Song all through the day.
