My old bestie arrived in Doha today. She is here on business trip. We have been talking about her trip for weeks before she finally arrived and we were so excited about it. She is one of my very best friends, who have been there for me through the goods and bads. We haven’t seen eachother for almost two years, maybe more. So today was the first time we see each other again face to face.
We went to Souq Waqif for coffee and because her schedule is quite full I had to drop her off again for her meeting with her business partners here. She will be here for a week and we had made a promise to meet again before she left.
Isn’t it very weird, to meet your old bestie again in another country? When I was pregnant with my first son, she used to be there to tell stories. I would sit on the bench, she would sit next to me during our lunch hours and then she would talk to my tummy, told my baby inside her love stories. Never thought that she would meet again with the baby to whom she used to tell her love stories in a different country.
New friends is valuable, but old friends are priceless.
And so, since Thursday I had let it slipped without my usual steal the style ideas, I am going to elaborate today’s posting with one of the style I had in mind. The style that I was wearing today.
I was so satisfied with my latest purchase. It was floral print flowing dress just above knee from H & M. I had mixed it with my Mango sweater and unbranded black legging and some wedges. I didn’t take my picture but I had put it together the ‘picture’ of it from Polyvore, and adding other option for the lengthy one just for an idea.

What a cute spring time outfit! I love it! And I agree, there is nothing better than old friends! How cool is that reuniting in a new country too? Very cool!

Indeed Theresa..weird but we laughed as we couldn’t believe ourselves that we actually sit here in a whole different country talking about the good old memories, sipping coffee and enjoying shisha. It’s a bless
