Starting this month O Magazine introduced a new feature called The World According to Gayle (the Editor at Large). She sounded to be a fun person, very active and full of spirit, which what I like about her.
In her first revelation about her world she told that her new favorite motto was “run away from toxic people. Instead surround yourself with others who are positive, who support you and want you to succeed” (quoted from O, January 2012). This was just so happened to be in lined with my resolution of 2012: To Stay Away from Negative People.
Negitivity is toxic but positivity is contagious in a good way. Positive people make life seems so much easier. Their companionship makes people happy. They bring joy to linger and they make other people feel important if not feel like superstar.
And while I am trying to stay away from the negativers, to surround my self with the positivers has become a mission on its own and surely the goal is to enhance the positivity in me. Don’t you think at the end of the day it will make the world so much better?
I had created an award few months ago which you can read here. However I had not had the time to make it work and gift it to others. Mainly because we were relocating to a new country and I could not get any internet connection.
But now since in my world it will all about positivity I have decided that to finally make the award works is one of the simple step to start with. Therefore I have made several changes and this award is named: I Heart This Blog Award
It is not about to find followers but it is all about how CuteCoconut appreciates these blogs for the great values they have given to other people, the inspiration they have become to and the joy they may have caused to people who read them. In short, it is a gift from CuteCoconut.
So when a blog gets this award, it can expect a great review here along with some of CuteCoconut’s favorite posts list from it’s site. Hence by default it will also be shared to others in CuteCoconut’s network.
There is already few blog that have been hovering in my mind to be the receivers of this award but you need to wait until sometimes this week to be able to know which blogs they are. It won’t be given all at once though. It should be like one at a time.
Meanwhile, let us all spread the love and positivity in whichever form we are able to do!
